1968 Plymouth Hemi Roadrunner (RM21J8)
This month I am featuring a Burgundy Metallic Hemi Coupe, which is 1 of 391 automatic's. 1968 was the first year for the roadrunner, and it was based on a plain belvedere, with mainly a Hi-Performance engine to attract buyers who wanted performance above all else. The horn was black, as were the decals on the doors. They would become more attractive in 1969. This car features a (D4S) deluxe vinyl split bench seat silver and black interior. It also features 3.23 sure grip rear axle, white horizontal accent stripe, tachometer, and AM radio with rear seat speaker. Plymouth was out to win you over in 1968.
